OccuCom Ergonomic Team Training System Master Packet This OccuCom Ergonomic Team Training System Master Packet has everything a company needs to provide an effective and comprehensive ergonomics program for office computer and material handling worker populations. It was developed, designed, and tested by Dr. Chuck Sherrod and his multidisciplinary staff of Board Certified Ergonomist and Public Health Educators with the domain expertise to create a program that allows maximum participation by both management and employees to work as teams in order to identify and control ergonomic hazards for a "Zero Injury Workplace". It also acts as a mechanism to comply with Cal-OSHA's General Safety Order 5110 and Fed-OSHA's General Duty Clause and includes the following components:
Instructor's Guide A 3-ring binder with sections for program administration, an actual script for the 4-module/2 hour seminar, or whatever time configuration is agreed upon, ancillary support articles for reading, a section for overhead templates, and a fully scripted narrative section for the included CD-ROM PowerPoint Presentation.
Participant's Guides This packet includes Ten Participant Guides and Ten Stretching Cards with each one presenting as a 38 page, easy-to-understand, interactive workbook that is used by each participant during them the seminar. It also serves as a reference for homework assignments, if desired.
Stretching Card The packet includes Eleven wallet-sized, laminated instructions for various stretching and strengthening techniques that reinforce materials demonstrated during the seminar. A fitter, more flexible workforce is likely to be healthier. These cards facilitate employee compliance with exercises by providing durable, easily referenced instruction.
Wall Posters A pair of complimentary 11" x 17" posters that demonstrate the Seven Strategies of Repetitive Motion Injury (RMI) Prevention. One poster is tailored to the office environment while the other is designed for areas where Manual Material (MMH) is common. These were both designed to reinforce correct biomechanics and are ideal for workplace bulleting boards.
Instructor's CD-ROM Includes a PowerPoiint-based presentation designed to run approximately 20 minutes in length. The slides correspond to the script provided in Section V of the Instructor's Guide.
