Smart Cat Touchpad
Intelligent software you can personalize, one-touch scroll and zoom in most applications, distinctive sounds for each operation, and more make the Cirque Smart Cat the most precise, easy-to-use pointing device in its class
Scroll - Horizontal and vertical scroll commands are operable in most applications. Just glide your finger along the right and bottom edges of the touchpad to activate up/down and sideways scrolling. Scroll areas are labeled on the touchpad surface; feature requires installation of the Cirque driver
Zoom - Magnification feature is operable in most applications. Glide your finger along the left edge of the touchpad to activate zoom in/out. Zoom area is not labeled on the touchpad surface; feature
Right Taps - Right "clicks" can be activated by tapping your finger in the upper right corner of the pad. The area is marked on the pad surface with a change of color and texture, and is a Microsoft® Plug-and-Play feature. Customizing the feature requires installation of the Cirque driver
GlideExtend - Edge extenders are activated when your finger reaches the pad's edge. The area is marked on the pad surface with a change of texture, and is a Plug-and-Play feature. Customizing GlideExtend requires installation of the Cirque driver
Other Sounds and custom speed, sensitivity, and orientation settings also require installation of Cirque driver

System Requirements for Serial-PS/2 Cirque Smart Cat Touchpad Model:
* IBM PC-compatible desktop, laptop, notebook or subnotebook computer * Available Serial or PS/2 port * One of these operating systems: Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows 2000, Windows NT 4.0, Windows ME (Plug-N-Play native Windows mouse driver support only), Windows XP * GlidePoint Driver Software Requirements: Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows 2000, Windows NT 4.0, Windows XP NOTE: GlidePoint drivers should NOT be installed on Windows ME systems. This product will function as a standard PS/2 port pointing device with native Windows support on this operating system. Serial Port installation is not recommended on Windows ME. If GlidePoint drivers are installed on Windows ME systems it will cause system issues.
System Requirements for USB Cirque Smart Cat Model:
PC Systems: * Available USB port * One of these operating systems: Windows 98, Windows 2000, Windows ME (Plug-N-Play native Windows mouse driver support only), Windows XP * GlidePoint Driver Software Requirements: Windows 98, Windows 2000, Windows XP NOTE: GlidePoint drivers should NOT be installed on Windows ME systems. This product will function as a standard PS/2 port pointing device with native Windows support on this operating system. If GlidePoint drivers are installed on Windows ME systems it will cause system issues.
Macintosh Systems: * Available USB port * One of these operating systems:
Mac OS 8.5-9x (This product functions as a standard USB compliant two button mouse): - The two side buttons and vertical scrolling will not function without third party driver installation (Requires USB Overdrive - see below). - GlideExtend: Continued movement when the edge of the touchpad is reached by lifting and repositioning the finger to continue motion. - "Control-click" functionality with the lower right button and the corner tap zone. - The two side buttons (third button) will not function without the installation of third party software (See below).
Mac OS X (OS X provides the following features without third party driver installation): - Wheel mouse scrolling (vertical scroll) - GlideExtend - Continued movement when the edge of the touchpad is reached by lifting and repositioning the finger to continue motion. - "Control-click" functionality with the lower right button and the corner tap zone. - The two side buttons (third button) may not function on all versions of OS X without the installation of third party software (See below).
* Manufacturer does not provide drivers for the Macintosh platform
