Patricia Jorgensen holds a B.S. degree from the University of California, San Diego in Physical Therapy, and a B.S. degree from San Diego State University in Adapted Physical Education, with a Minor in Exercise Physiology. She recently received her certification as an Industrial Ergonomist from the Oxford Research Institute.

Patricia specializes in ergonomics with expertise in assessments, program implementation, education and OSHA compliance. In her 20 years of working in the field of healthcare and injury prevention, she has completed numerous certification courses and has taken a special interest in healthcare ergonomics as it applies to design and medical errors. In addition, she has begun research on backpack design for children.

Some affiliations include: Human Factors and Ergonomics Society, American Physical Therapy Association, American Society of Safety Engineers, IDEA, American Council on Exercise (ACE) Association for Worksite Health Promotion, and Disability Management Employers Coalition.
