Janice Serafine Lilien, M.S.
Masters in Human Factors & Ergonomics, Ergonomics Specialist
Janice Serafine Lilien has over six years of ergonomic and injury prevention and repetitive strain injury disability management consulting experience. She has performed thousands of individualized ergonomics assessments to help ensure employees' wellness and company compliance to Cal OSHA standards. Janice has also taught ergonomic classes to a wide range of employees in public and private sector companies, and facilitates behavioral changes through teaching individuals and groups a new typing technique to assist in their recovery from a repetitive strain injury.
Janice received her Masters Degree in Human Factors and Ergonomics at San Jose State University in 2004 and has been working as an Ergonomist since 2000. She is a member of the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society, Bay Chi, Bay Area Ergonomic Roundtable and is a certified CPR instructor. Janice's undergraduate degree is in Medical Illustration from Rochester Institute of Technology and she recently illustrated repetitive strain injuries for a text book.
